Psyclopean is a new cinematic dark ambient/atmospheric music project fronted by Matt Schmitz (Sleestak, Altrusian Grace Media) and produces instrumental interpretations of the literary works of H.P. Lovecraft and his peers. Nathicana is the second album and is inspired by the Lovecraft poem of the same name. Embracing the gothic themes of love and tragedy, Nathicana is a fever dream of unworldly sonic imagery, shadowed melodies, foreboding tension, and neo-classical overtones.
