This is a concept album that follows the story of a warrior monk who eventually has a mental breakdown after being plagued by incubi and succubi. The non-metal tracks with drums are explicitly battle sequences, where the monk is at war.
The music is neofolk, noise, martial industrial and black metal influenced DS, creating a challenging yet engaging sound. There are clean vocals, influenced by Manilla Road, Fates Warning, Van Der Graaf Generator, Candlemass and the Legendary Pink Dots. Song structures are more progressive, with sections, segments and interludes.
