This album sees me going in a more song-focused direction. In addition to the typical dungeon synth, I have incorporated in three of my songs a more traditional approach to songwriting. Here you can find choruses, pre-choruses, motifs and riffs, yet with a distinctive Poppet flair nonetheless. Tracks two and six were written for my Celestial Cataclysm project, and track four was written for a doom metal project I never got around to. The other tracks act as bridges and instrumental breaks between the more epic ones.

Thematically, this album is much more focused on fantasy, especially sword and sorcery than my other albums, as well as on themes of punishment, invocation and torture. I hope you enjoy!
