“Fifty paces. It was decided. Pick a direction, and go fifty paces into that cloak of dark, that eonic corridor, almost worse for its half-illumination. And so I did, and each step could have taken a second, or a year, and I would return to the surface hastened toward my death, always carrying a bit of this pungent air in my lungs. In those 50 steps out, almost nothing changed.”

A collection of unreleased material recorded to 4-track cassette, the earliest begun immediately after the completion of Faces of Winter, the latest recorded in the summer of 2017 while exploring methods for live performance. Some additional recording done in the fall of 2018. This material covers a wide range between lush fantasy ambient and hypnotic minimalism.
