After a prolonged absence, Nahadoth returns with Drought(drones), an excursion into dungeon drone. The dripping textures of oscillating synths provide an eroded bed for the melody to dissolve into, sometimes re-emerging transformed. Drought(drones) invites contemplation of the wisdom of shimmering heat, though the listener may singe their faces and scorch their lungs in order to access it.

The material comprising this release was recorded in May and July of 2022 in single takes with a lone keyboard. Reverb and overdrive added alongside utterances of surrender, during a live mixdown process in August under the deleterious effects of extreme heat.
