"Words Form Blades" is Infernal Symphony's first EP, and one formed from tracks that were surplus to requirements from "The Poisoned Chalice", our second album. Continuing the "love and love lost" theme of the aforementioned album, this EP ended up developing its own, slightly more attuned sound, overlapping the atmosphere and feel of the original album with an additional layer of rawness and an ever more dingy, oppressive mood that drags you down deeper and deeper into a pit of sorrow.

Even though the included tracks were all created at different moments during the recording process, by some chance or demonic miracle they all fell in to perfect place - the track order was not deliberated over in any way, yet each track flows seamlessly into the next - meaning the EP plays almost like one full song; a stylistic choice mastered by Bolt Thrower and the like.

This EP is characterized by repetitive and droning passages, even heavier riffs, and some unconventional touches that are unlike other recordings we have made in the past.

This EP already comes as a bonus item with our 2nd full length but can now be purchased separately.
