Following the hottest streak of albums during the most consistent period of the band's near-legendary career, 'Evil Spirits', Infernal Symphony's 30th overall album, is a raw, carnal and emotional experiment of the darkest arcane origins.

The 6th album recorded utilising the new and improved recording setup, and the 6th in a succession of interconnected, contingent storytelling pieces in extreme metal record form, 'Evil Spirits' travels a few hundred years after the events of 'Reverie Of Damnation' and explores the demon world in grimly eye-opening detail.

From album opener 'Beholden', a 3 minute-long cataclysm of pure death metal brutality, to 'Decapitation Nation', a 7 minute excursion of synthwave, fast drumming, chugging bass and our first-ever Matt Bellamy-esque clean vocals, to the brutal 'Lesser Key Of Solomon' and the horrific, monolithic trilogy 'Triptych Of The Ancients', this new release serves up not just a healthy platter of chaotic, groovy black/death metal interspersed with Dungeon Synth, but also some of the most innovative and diverse music the UK metal scene has to offer.

Evoking scenes of marauders pillaging unsuspecting villages, to clandestine hooded figures conducting black magik rites..., the sheer level of versatility and variety on display here easily sets this album apart from the pack. Demonic Bishop has honed his vocal ability and riffing edge and penned some legendary, thought-provoking and witty lyrics, whilst also expanding the scope of the tracks on display, opening up song structures and heaviness to previously untouched lengths.

6 years on from our debut, Infernal Symphony prove that they don't just have more left in the tank - they expand, upgrade and thrash the hell out of their tank to boot with every new release.
