Cult of Azatoth is a single eerie cinematic dark ambient with drone music and inspired by cosmic horror author, H.P. Lovecraft.

« The mysterious amorphous entity called Azathoth reigns over time and space, according to what Lovecraft wrote about the descriptions contained in the Necronomicon.

Comprised of seething darkness and confusion, Azathoth is an entity that resides at the center of the chaos of the universe, endlessly consuming creation. The entity is also composed of sounds, described as the vile beat of drums and the thin wail of cursed flutes.

The lack of definition stems from the fact that everyone sees Azathoth differently, and the entity is constantly changing. Evidence of its existence, according to Lovecraft's work, would be around a black hole at the center of the Milky Way.

Azathoth was introduced in the short story Looking for Kadath. He would be a being so powerful and with such an evil presence that no one dares even say his name, which in itself causes repulsion, for Azathoth is the primal terror itself, too horrible to even be described. »
