After creating many different Dungeon Synth albums一from the days of The Blazing Cosmos to Forgotten Land一I feel as if this is my first official release as a Dungeon Synth artist. I've developed a unique, yet distinct style of music, and this record feels like my magnum opus. I have peaked at this point. However, this record is a goodbye of sorts. A goodbye to "Era 1" of Grim Darkness. The evolution of my music has taken many forms, some of which will never see the light of day again. But, this new beginning will allow me to create things that are more personal and more quality.

The beauty of this record is that it can be anything you want. It can be depressing, melancholic, happy, or triumphant. It's all up to how you perceive it. So please, enjoy the ending of an era.

“Through the Mist of Crying Skies” was recorded from March 2021 to April of 2021. All tracks were constructed using the loose twigs of the forest, snow, rain, and other natural resources. Grim Darkness fully endorses and encourages the use of this album for:
