'Hermetic Meditations' is an album oriented even more spiritually and meditatively, as its title suggests. Once again, it tells the story of an initiate, but this time on a much more personal level. When we examine the order of tracks in the first half of the album more closely, we read, I am the Light, the Source, and the Truth (etc.). This can be interpreted in many ways, but since the microcosm reflects the macrocosm, we are, in fact, this light, source, and truth. Through it, we illuminate the darkness of the world for others—perhaps through our music.

The following tracks, Solve et Coagula, Final Ritual, and End of Time, continue this journey.

Thus, the album narrates an initiate's life journey within an endless cycle, from birth to death. At its core, it expands on the themes of the previous album (Ancestral Cult) but approaches them on a much more personal level with multi-layered meanings. Central to it all is the all-pervading Source, from which everything emanates in infinite space—the place where it all began and where it all ends, only to be reborn anew.
