"Lament for the Golden King" is the third instalment from Citadel Noire, the dungeon synth project from Drøüyn of Alder Glade.

As the road leads out of the mountains
you follow a large plume of smoke
and happen upon the remnants of a
battle field. Men in brilliant golden
armour, sit around a funeral pyre.
They openly weep, singing a dirge
to their beloved fallen king.
A heavy sadness hangs in the air...
