A hybrid of Neoclassical ambience, ALFC is an interesting entry into the Realm as at times it barely constitutes as DS. This is probably the most alien recording by the project, but it's contribution to the genre is valid indeed.

Starting it's descent into the caverns in the same way as it's Egress, we find two tracks that echo Burzum's "Ill Tidings" from "Daudi Baldrs". Littered between these pieces, gentle piano work teases us with playful melodies, conjuring up a dawn's walk through the forest. Reminscent at times of Fata Morgana's debut release, I find myself enthralled by "Autumn"

The release is not without it's faults though, and I find no particular composition stands out, and at times the record becomes tedious and repetitive.

For a project that was in its infancy at the time, this does come with a recommendation, but ultimately, at times this feels like the mighty battleaxe has missed its target, and the enemy has taken advantage with a massive counter attack, dazing the Warrior.
